Any business cards that still wave the fee, or is this lost forever? Whens the next video coming out? trying to decide on next chase card preferred and united infinite, or preferred and gold so i can get upgrades next year on both.

Great Video @NobleCredit. I’m active duty and have several personal and business cards. Have 6 business cards with Amex (4 credit, 2 Charge). After calling AMEX and speaking with SCRA review team, they waived all annual fees and extended me the SCRA benefits and protections to all of my business cards. This was completed in August 2023. Also again in June 2024. My first AMEX card was the personal Platinum card back in March 2022 when I was on active duty status.

The more I thought about it, There is a difference between an opinion and an assertion. Opinions are purely subjective and definitively cannot be right or wrong. Opinions can however be unjustified and illogical, at the same time, that is not the same as being wrong. Assertions are purely objective and can be right or wrong. The example of "all blacks are racists" is not an opinion, it is an assertion, because it is objective and can be proven wrong. If you said Kobe Bryant has more rings than Carmelo Anthony, that is a fact because Kobe has 5 rings while Melo has 0. An assertion would be like Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown are a championship winning combo because the Celtics won the title this year. If u said “chicken is better than fries is better than this one” then that would be an opinion. Saying chicken is better or worse than fries is not right or wrong.

Can you say how you got the 7 amex platinum cards? I know its upgrading other cards, but need the details of how long the account was open before upgrading? How do you upgrade? Is it a phone call, a button on the website, I never did it before and want to max out my amex, chase reserves, and hilton aspire cards.

So just to verify the third method I will write down the check to myself, for instance if I got a balance transfer check from Wells Fargo I will fill up the information and deposit the check to my other account (Chase) not the same account (Wells Fargo)?

Here's how I believe the Wells Fargo credit card works, and then I have a question: 1. You apply for a WF card and WF establishes a credit card limit, say $5,000. 2. You get your new card along with two checks (called Superchecks). 3. You write a Supercheck to yourself and deposit it in your checking account, usually at a different bank, i.e. Chase. 4. Using your checks from Chase, you pay whomever you want. In my case, instead of using my Chase checks, I just go online and transfer money from my Chase checking account to my Chase credit card, and therefore, I've paid off my Chase credit card. So, my question is, using the above steps, am I avoiding the 5% balance transfer fee?

Wells Fargo does not seem to have an online method. Is that true?

You can still get the bonus for both the Gold and Platinum cards. However, you have to get the gold card first.

I downgraded to the Gold card after the Delta mess up... now they offered me an upgrade, so I decided to switch up to the Platinum instead of jumping back to the Reserve... they offered me $200 statement credit + 20000 miles for the upgrade.

does Citi waive military annual fees?

I know im late, but for people who are annual fee adverse or dont qualify for the higher tier cards United does have a subscription for $350/year for two checked bags for you and your companion. I think this is a good option as well.
